Signed Applets & Writing to a local file

• JavaScript and Applet write to a local file if your Browser' Security settings are configured properly.
  MyAppletWriteFile_nocert.html - Applet writes to a local file system.
  • Configure IE's Intranet Security Settings.
    • Add this domain as an "Intranet" site.
    • Modify the Microsoft VM Java settings to "Custom" and then click on "Custom Java Settings" and edit the permissions to enable "untrusted" applets local file access.
