Pinnacle 500-USB - video capture

• Steps
  • Warning:  Connect the 500-USP video capture to the USB port before you launch "Pinnacle Studio v10".  If you forget, you will loose your settings and have to reconfigure the software.
  • Configure Pinnacle Studio v10
    • Launch Pinnacle Studio v10
    • Click "Capture"
    • Click "Settings" (next to "Start Capture")
    • Click the tab "Capture Source"
      • Video: Pinnacle 500-USB
      • Audio: Pinnacle 500-USB
      • Scene detection....: "No auto scene detection."
      • TV Standard: NTSC
      • Aspect Ration: 4:3
      • Capture Preview: Checked
    • Click the tab "Capture Format"
      • Presets: MPEG-1/2  (Note:  All work fine with Windows Media Player (WMP).)
        High Quality DVD (720x480 6000 kbits/sec)
        Medium Quality (SVCD) (480x480 2400 kbits/sec) - * My choice for view vs disk space used.
        Low Quality (Video CD) (352x240 1150 kbits/sec)
